Ossining Tomorrow Survey
Calling all Ossining residents! Be part of envisioning our community's future by responding to this in-depth Ossining Tomorrow survey . The Ideas Wall is another online public engagement tool where you can share ideas and react to what others have suggested. Links for both tools, as well as lots of resources and information about the comprehensive plan, can be found here . Updating the village's comprehensive plan to reflect our community's vision for Ossining is an important initiative which will be the foundation for zoning and land use for the next decade or more. If you care about the future of Ossining, be part of the decision making now.

Last week's work session included a visit from BFJ planning consultants updating us on the comprehensive plan process, as well as a visit from Sustainable Westchester to discuss renewable energy initiatives. The Trustees and I also discussed the path forward for fulfilling the governor's mandate to local governments to review police policies and establish a plan for improvement. The process is guided by the Mayor and Trustees, in partnership with the Ossining Police Department and community stakeholders. We are reaching out to consultants to facilitate the public engagement aspect of this process. Click here for the agenda and link to the meeting video .

Census Responses Needed
There is still time to fill out the 2020 Census. Having an accurate count of Ossining residents will impact our representation in government and our access to funding for the next decade. Nearly 60% of village residents have responded. If you are part of the 40% yet to respond, please click here now .
