Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday! It's been a whirl; there is no wind down for WRIC or the immense needs of the people we serve, so please help us with our work by participating in our challenge.

50 years ago a group of women sat around a kitchen table to talk about how to help others facing difficult life decisions and striving to become self-sufficient. They formed Women's Rights Information Center (WRIC).

Today, WRIC is strong, and remains devoted to its mission.  Over five decades, WRIC has been a safety net, a source of hope and opportunity, and a portal to a better life, for thousands of Bergen County residents.

Help us celebrate this milestone, and get to $50k, one pledge at a time.   Or consider an ongoing pledge!

Original WRIC Board Trustee, 92 year old, Josie Smith, talks about what WRIC means for so many:

"Women still have problems...but we've become very strong in the past 50 years...Everything we need to set up for operations now, women are able to do it and we're not afraid..."

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, keep a look out for more stories from WRIC champions. From where we started and to where we are going.

And there's still time to contribute to our annual Gift Drive
