The Town of Orangetown Food Scrap Recycling Updates
Thank you so much for taking part in Orangetown's Food Scrap Recycling Program. As of August 3, 2022, we have collected 55,880 pounds of food waste!
FOOD SCRAPPING TIPS
During the warm summer months, please try to get to the drop-off site at least once a week and remember to remove the TAB on the white transfer bin to create a tight seal. This will reduce the chance of getting unwanted critters in your white transfer bin.
Check to see if your TAB is still on.
Remove the TAB.
You should now have a tight seal!
