Columbia Restaurant Community Harvest

EAT WELL, DO GOOD! 

During the entire month of September, the Columbia Restaurant will host their 25th Annual Community Harvest. Over the last 24 years, this program has provided more than $3 million to non-profit organizations throughout Florida. We are grateful that St. Augustine Humane Society will be listed on the Harvest Ballots at our local Columbia Restaurant again this year. Customers will be able to select our organization, and a contribution equal to 5% of the food and beverage value will be donated to SAHS in the form of restaurant gift certificates. 

Our Pet Food Pantry is Running Low

We're grateful to the people in our community for their generosity and especially kids who take the initiative to do a pet food collection like 13-year-old Toby! Last month, he collected over 2,100 pounds of dog and cat food for our Pet Food Pantry. With the help of his Aunt Laura, Toby arranged a remote pet drive at the Tractor Supply Store. The need is great, and we're already running low again.

We distribute close to 2,000 pounds of pet food each month. If you are able to contribute, please stop by with any donation - large or small. The Pantry is open to pet owners on Fridays who are struggling to provide for their pets. We distribute free food, toys, leashes, and more! If someone you know is having challenges providing for their pets, please let them know.
