All are welcome to join us as we usher in the Shabbat together as Mishpocha (family)!  In lieu of our regular Erev Shabbat Service we will share a meal together, fellowship, and have a biblically-based discussion. Our evening dinner will be Chinese cuisine with Bourbon Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Lo Mein, and Sugar Donuts. Please arrive extra early as dinner begins promptly at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

All are welcome to join us for an afternoon of fun and dancing! Our Shoresh David dance instructor, Julia Sapp, will be teaching a range of beginner, intermediate, and advanced dances so there will be something for everyone. Our goal is for everyone who has the desire to worship the Lord through dance to join.

We will be teaching:
- Basic dance steps
- Dances typically done during Messianic worship
- Congregational dances created by our choreography team
- Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level Israeli dances

FOUNDATIONS OF MESSIANIC JUDAISM

All are invited to attend this FREE 7-week course to better understand what we believe at Shoresh David. And if you are new to Messianic Judaism, this course will highlight the principles of our Messianic Jewish faith in Messiah Yeshua.

The course runs for a total of 7 consecutive Mondays and is open to the public. For those who register, we recommend you attend all classes in person. However, in case you miss a class, we will provide attendees with a video link to watch online so you don't miss anything.

Shoresh David will be partnering with Tampa Bay Area churches for a special Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) sponsored outreach at the “USF 2024 Taste of Tampa”. Volunteers are needed to set up, serve food, supervise games, etc. for the 2,000 incoming freshman students (and represent Shoresh David  Messianic Synagogue in the process).

When you are done registering, please email dbritton@shoreshdavid.org and let her know that you are going and have registered.  Sharing shirts will be provided by CRU.  

MEN'S & WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP

Now held on the fourth Saturday of each month, all men and women are invited for a time of fellowship, prayer, study and pizza.

Men's Fellowship: The men will meet upstairs for a time of fellowship and prayer.

Sisterhood: The women will be exploring the subject of Miracles. We would like two of our ladies to give a testimony of miraculous event in their life.  Please text Dolly if you want to share. Julia Sapp, our Dance Instructor, will do a "dance drash" with us again. How fun was the first one?!? Please mark your calendars, bring a friend, and encourage your Shoresh David Sisters to join us.  Revival!

BEIT EMUNAH RENOVATIONS

We are in the initial project-planning stage at Shoresh David Tampa, along with House of Hope Church leadership, praying and evaluating how we can best move forward to repair and utilize the 3,000 sq. ft. Beit Emunah building on the east side of the property.

TAMPA FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION

Join With Us To Feed Those In Need

Help fill our Food Pantry with canned protein (particularly beef, chicken, tuna, peanut butter), canned fruits or veggies, and dry goods such as rice, pasta, cereal, crackers, etc. Please do not bring items that have passed their expiration. Also, please keep in mind that our recipients are elderly, and so children's products aren't needed at this time.

We distribute non-perishable foods to those in need on the last Wednesday of each month. You can also make financial contributions at the synagogue or via our secure giving page at ShoreshDavid.org/donate.  Please note “food pantry” on your checks and online giving. Thank you for your contributions to this important ministry
