Message from Mrs. Nannen

At Touching Hearts, we cultivate a nurturing and supportive environment where children can shout, “I can do it!” with pride. We know that fostering independence takes a sprinkle of patience and a dash of grace, but the rewards are immeasurable. By helping children master essential skills—like putting on and taking off their jackets, zipping them up, hanging their backpacks on hooks, washing their hands, and even navigating the tricky world of socks and shoes (who hasn’t worn them on the wrong feet a time or two?)—we are empowering them to feel more confident in their daily lives. Each small achievement, from pushing in chairs after snack time to helping tidy up their toys, builds their sense of autonomy and joy in learning. So, let’s embrace this beautiful journey together, celebrating every little victory along the way, and reminding ourselves that mistakes are just stepping stones to success.

Let Us Pray for You

As we journey through this school year, we at Touching Hearts would love to pray for you and your family. If you have a prayer request, we invite you to fill out our Google Form and let us know how we can support you in prayer. If you prefer, the form may be completed anonymously.

Our hope and intention is to support, encourage, and bless your family throughout the year. We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for you and your family.

Let’s Pack 200 Shoeboxes!

October is Operation Christmas Child Collection Month! Our goal

is BIG—we want to collect enough items to pack 200 shoeboxes!

Every shoebox is an opportunity to share God’s love with a child

around the world. We need our Faith families to help make it happen!

You can drop off items at the collection table in the school

office area throughout the month.

There are lots of ways your family can help:

·        Shop and donate items from the suggested list

·        Donate a gift card so we can purchase needed items

·        Use a Thrivent Action Team and donate the funds toward shoebox gifts

·        Shop our Amazon Wishlist and have items shipped directly to school

·        Pray for the kids who will be receiving shoebox gifts from Faith Lutheran

Every item makes a

difference, and every box tells a child, “Jesus Loves You!”

Illness Policy

As we begin a new school year, we understand that germs are persistent! Our teachers are consistently wiping surfaces and cleaning toys.

We ask that you keep your child(ren) at home if they are showing signs of illness. Give us a call or send a message via the Procare app if they are staying at home. This allows for us to also monitor their classroom.

  • Children must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to Touching Hearts.
  • If they are vomiting or have diarrhea, they can return no earlier than 24 hours following the last incident.
