The Alto Products redesigned stepped pressure plate is .118” thickness at the snap ring land but is stepped up to .260” thickness (55% thicker) across the remaining 70% of the plate. This will prevent flexing and clutch pack burnup issues that exist in these applications and can be used as a direct replacement to the thin OEM pressure plate.
