Dear Archway Trivium Families,

We have been doing very well with our pick-up and drop-off routines of late. Every year, it takes a few weeks to really settle in to make the system work. This year took longer than usual as we strove to concoct a system that could handle over 900 students. I am pleased to announce that there is little to no wait for pick-up after about 23 minutes. One day last week, our “green line,” that picks up along the south end of the field, had no line at all after just 17 minutes.

Thus far this year we have not held to our school policy on late pick up because we have not been completing pick-up in a timely manner. Beginning next Monday, September 19, we will begin enforcing the late pick-up policy as found on page 46 of the family handbook. Please make sure you are arriving within 30 minutes of the end of school to pick-up your scholar in order to avoid being charged a late pick-up fee.

I know getting to this point has been a challenge for everyone. I am most grateful for everyone who worked on developing this system and especially for your patience and grace as we worked through numerous adjustments. Your kindness is most appreciated.
