Christ Church of

New Brunswick

will be reviving our

Declaration of Independence reading on the 4th of July.

This commemorates the reading of the Declaration of Independence to citizens of New Brunswick in July 1776. This year we will also be reflecting on the current state of America relative to the aspirations of the Declaration. Noting as Frederick Douglass did in 1852, that many in America are still being oppressed, and denied freedom spiritually, physically and economically.

In addition to the readings there will also be tour of

the Historic Christ Church graveyard.

Activities start at 10:00AM, July 4th, 2025,

light refreshments available.

The Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and the Office of Government Relations (OGR) have launched a new Immigration Action Toolkit page on the Episcopal Church website.

This toolkit consolidates a wide range of resources in one place, making it a go-to destination for immigration information. While some resources focus on the Episcopal Church's response to the current situation, it also includes helpful links on topics like Family Preparedness and Know Your Rights, which are valuable to people of all faiths or none at all.

To stay updated on this ever-evolving issue and hear from knowledgeable

experts, a 30-minute weekly webinar is available. You can register here.
