TOWN PROUD
THINK LOCAL | SUPPORT LOCAL
DON'T MISS OUT...Take advantage of this FREE member only opportunity to be seen by the community!
In partnership with The Prince George Citizen, we hope to create greater public awareness on the benefits of spending your money at local businesses. Throughout the entire month of March, our new 'Town Proud' campaign will highlight the real impacts of spending locally. Our Chamber strongly believes that keeping consumer's dollars within our community works to strengthen our local economy and enhance our community. The real bonus is that WE WANT TO HIGHLIGHT YOU! This is how it works...in an exclusive 'Chamber' section of each daily newspaper, we will include testimonials from members like you on how your customers' commitment to spending locally impacts your business directly. Your name, photo, and business will appear in The Citizen along with your statement on how local support and spending, positively affects you (in business or personally). Submit up to 100 words, your photo, name and business logo directly to:

CASH MOBS ARE BACK!
NOMINATIONS FOR THE SPRING CASH MOBS OPEN SOON
In 2015 the PG Chamber, in partnership with Hell Yeah Prince George, organized 4
Cash Mobs meant to connect Chamber members with the community in an effort to promote and encourage shopping local.
Once again the Chamber and HYPG! will be organizing more great cash mobs over the course of this year. Take a moment to think of great local Chamber member businesses who could use a little "mobbing" and watch the Chamber and HYPG Facebook pages for your chance to nominate. Nominations will open on March 3rd and close at 9am on Monday, March 7th. For more information on how shopping local affects the local economy, check out the "Town Proud" material featured this month in the Prince George Citizen.
