We welcome the Rev. P. Richard “Dick” Game as our preacher today and Mr. Alvin Blount as our guest organist.

Article Heading

The Rev. P. Richard “Dick” Game recently retired after sixteen years as Rector of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Dunwoody. Before entering ordained ministry, Dick practiced as a commercial trial lawyer in Atlanta. His ministry has included a particular interest in congregational development, discernment, and helping communities discover and live more fully into their identity and purpose. He has served the Diocese of Atlanta in a variety of leadership roles, including as Secretary of Diocesan Council, Dean of the Northeast Metro Convocation, and a member of the Standing Committee, and has been a trainer with the College for Congregational Development.

Dick and his wife, Anne, live in Marietta and are the parents of three adult daughters. In retirement, he is exploring a new chapter of preaching, congregational development, and accompanying clergy and congregations in seasons of discernment and transition, shaped by a new rule of life: Walking with God, living joyfully, and empowering others.

Sing in the Summer Choir

This Sunday is the final Sunday for the Summer Choir

The Summer Choir is open to adults and youth; we rehearse one anthem on Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. and then sing it during the 10:00 a.m. liturgy (no vestments, no weekday commitment, lots of fun and fellowship). Join us upstairs in the Music Suite.

Contact Julie Ryder if you have questions or want more information.

Youth Group will not meet this Sunday, August 30.
