Sweater Weather is Here!

Fall is my favorite season. Pumpkin spice lattes, sweater weather, cool mornings, changing leaves… what's not to love?

But I also understand that not everyone is ready for summer to end. Sometimes, the changing of seasons can feel a little scary, especially when we’re not quite ready to embrace what comes next.

Maybe that’s where you find yourself right now. You’re not quite ready to take the next step toward embryo adoption. Or perhaps you’re not quite ready to let go of the embryos you created, even though you know a decision needs to be made. Transitions can bring a mixture of hope, grief, uncertainty, and even fear.

But there is something beautiful about a new season: God makes all things new.

Even when we can’t yet see what’s ahead, we can trust that He is already there. And sometimes, what comes next is not what we expected at all. It may be different than what we imagined, but it can also be better than we imagined.

As we step into this new season, wherever you are in your journey, we hope you’ll remember: you don’t have to have everything figured out today. There is grace for the process, hope for what’s ahead, and a God who is faithful through every season. 🍁

When You Need a Reason to Hold on to Hope

Maybe you've heard some of these words before:

There is a low chance of pregnancy.

Your sperm count is low.

It's unexplained infertility.

Have you considered using a donor?

Maybe you spent months or even years hearing words like these while walking through appointments, testing, diagnoses, and disappointment.

After a while, it can start to feel like you're the only ones walking through it.

But you’re not.

There are families who have sat in those same appointments. Who have heard the same difficult words. Who have wondered what their diagnosis meant for their future and whether they would ever become parents.

That’s why we’d love to invite you to spend some time reading the stories of our Snowflakes families. Their stories are filled with infertility, unexpected diagnoses, years of waiting, unanswered questions, and the decision to take a different path through embryo adoption.

And then, something beautiful happened.

Faith became sight. A dream became a Snowflakes baby. A family they had prayed and hoped for was finally in their arms.

It may not have looked the way they originally imagined. In fact, their journey may have looked completely different from the picture they had in their minds. But what they discovered on the other side of the waiting was something they could not have imagined for themselves: a family that was, in many ways, even more beautiful than they had dreamed.

As you read their stories, you may find one that sounds surprisingly familiar. Maybe a couple who wondered if they would ever become parents. Maybe a family who had almost given up hope. Maybe someone who took one more step forward without knowing exactly what would happen next.

Their stories won’t promise that your journey will look exactly like theirs.

But they can be a reminder to hold on to hope. To keep dreaming. And not to give up on your desire to build a family.

Because sometimes, the story you never imagined becomes the story you’re most grateful to live.

And when the waiting feels long, hold onto this reminder:

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23
