Happy Thanksgiving Thursday,

I hope today finds you surrounded by good food, loud laughter, and the people who matter most.

This is one of the few weeks life truly seems to slow down.

As we pause and give thanks, I’m especially grateful for the trust and relationships we’ve built over the years.

Helping families plant roots and build wealth is something we never take lightly.

The market will still be there tomorrow. Today is about presence, gratitude, and making lasting holiday memories.

👉 When the stuffing settles, and you’re thinking about 2026, whether securing your future or planning a smart move, we're here when you’re ready.

Wishing you and your family a warm, joyful Thanksgiving.

Things To Do In Austin - Thanksgiving Week 2025

National Housing Report

This video covers what's going on with real estate right now.

REMAX October 2025 National Housing Report

October’s national market is livelier than expected. Sales are up 3.2% year-over-year, inventory jumped 16% and prices are on a steady incline $445,000 up 2.2% YOY.

Homes are taking a bit longer to sell at (50 days), but well-priced or unique listings still move fast. This is a rebalancing market, with a wider negotiation window for buyers ready to act.

Keep in Mind these are national Averages, where local markets are behaving quite differently all over the country.

Austin MSA vs The National Ave

Meanwhile, Austin’s MSA moved in the opposite direction , closings dipping nearly 10% even as prices edged up 1.4%. Austin MSA hasn’t yet caught up, but that gap is telling in itself.

We believe the greater Austin areas slower pace is just the calm before acceleration, lot's of big money eyeing Austin and Central Texas Real Estate. Inventory is up, lots of New Construction opportunities, prices are holding steady, and that’s exactly how recoveries start.

Now, Austin proper (the City) plays by its own rules. Inside the city limits, sales and prices are both up 1%, pendings jumped 14%, and days on market even dropped.

The biggest difference from the wider 5-County MSA?

New construction. Builders can adjust inventory, incentives, and rates at scale, homeowners can’t, so the city’s resale market moves differently and often faster. But the MSA has New construction Inventory that builders are practically giving away.

And right now, the best deals heading into year-end are hands down in new construction.

Can Real Estate Save You From The AI-Unemployment Wave ?

AI is coming for a lot of jobs, but not for roofs, leases, or property lines. Real estate is still one of the few places where human judgment, negotiation, and boots-on-the-ground hustle actually matter.

If you want to future-proof your income, owning assets beats hoping your industry survives the next software update.
