ALWAYS....REACHING HIGHER
From the Superintendent...
Greetings!

Please find attached a letter from the Archbishop helping us all understand where he is in his discernment regarding the Covenant Taskforce Recommendations. A good process for all to follow is to use this letter as part of your discussions with teachers as you present them with their covenants for this year. Each of you knows how important the work of the teachers has been throughout the past two years, so the way in which you deliver the covenant will be important. To affirm their work, to recognize significant accomplishments, to acknowledge that the work in our Catholic schools truly is a ministry. Each teacher ministers to the student, family, and to one another within the context of our faith. In our Catholic schools, we offer more. Our students are known and loved as children of God! Gifts and talents are called forth with an emphasis on how to use those unique gifts to serve and help discover God’s Kingdom, right here, right now. And, just like our students, our teachers, too, have gifts to share and employ to further build on the foundations that were given to us by the pioneers who faithfully began our Catholic schools. The covenants represent a link in the legacy chain and a faith-filled promise for our futures.

I keep you all in my prayers of gratitude as we move into the final weeks of Lent.

We keep you in our prayers of gratitude,

KRISTIN DIXON |  Superintendent
