Mandatory masks –
an executive order requiring masks or facial coverings to be worn in public places throughout Palm Beach County has been approved . Exempted are persons age 2 and under and individuals with respiratory conditions that preclude the use of a mask. The order applies inside all buildings and outdoors when social distancing is not possible.

PALM BEACH COUNTY
COVID-19 EDUCATION COMPLIANCE TEAM
The county has put together a team to educate and enforce compliance with the executive order.
The team is comprised of representatives from state and local agencies including the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Beach County Code Enforcement and Fire Rescue, the Florida Department of Health-Palm Beach County and police departments from Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. Team members will proactively conduct spot inspections of local businesses and public venues, noting where masks are not being worn and/or social distancing is not being consistently practiced.

The Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce was one of three chambers in the tri-county area to receive masks, gloves and hand sanitizers for our members from
Unifirst.

Despite the contradictory nature of spending money that’s not there, retail marketers encourage businesses to keep their name/product out there. We do have an excellent vehicle – the Chamber Guide – which reaches all Palm Beach houses, waterfront condos [yes, The Bristol is on this year’s distribution!] and other nearby communities. No other chamber focuses on distribution this way to spotlight its members and the goods and services available. Don’t miss out on creating a new customer base.
