We know you will enjoy (and learn a lot) from this hugely popular video featuring our very own Artistic Advisor, Jon Kimura Parker. In Jackie's own words:

A fun educational project for me is recording instructional videos for the pay site tonebase. They’re meant for serious piano students and young professionals, with lots of shop talk and tricks of the trade.

This is a free video that tonebase released in honor of this year being Rachmaninoff’s 150th anniversary. You’ll see guest appearances from Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, legendary jazz pianist Art Tatum, and a few other cameos, and eventually various demonstrations from me on the difficulties of this piece. In fact, the 15th Variation, which is the focus of this long video, only takes a minute to play! - Jackie

We look forward to sharing more OICMF news and events with you — keep your eyes peeled for next month's Scherzo!
