Join us for an unforgettable day at the club! We are offering free trail passes from 9am-2pm so bring out a friend or family member interested in trying out everyone's favorite sport. Be sure to arrive early as rentals are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weather looks awesome, conditions are great, get out there and have a wonderful day!

Intro Classic Ski Lessons

10am or 1pm

Are you new to skiing or know someone who is? We’re excited to offer Introductory Classic Ski Lessons for just $5!

Join us at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM for a fun, beginner-friendly session. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of classic skiing in a supportive environment while helping our newly certified CANSI ski instructors hone their teaching skills.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out on this amazing chance to kickstart your Nordic skiing journey!

Try It Biathlon

10:30am-1pm

Curious about the exciting sport of Biathlon? Here’s your chance to give it a try! Join us for a fun and interactive session using our Ecoaim Laser Rifles – a safe and beginner-friendly way to experience this unique combination of skiing and target shooting.

Special guests and local athletes, Peyton and Liam Sinclair, will be on hand to share their expertise, demonstrate shooting techniques, and introduce you to the thrill of Biathlon. Whether you’re a new skier or just looking to try something new, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

When: 10:30am-1pm

Where: Biathlon Stadium

Ski Jumping Canada!!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Drew Edwards from Ski Jumping Canada to Winterfest! Drew will introduce our young athletes and coaches to the incredible sport of ski jumping, and we are eager to incorporate this exciting discipline into our Skills Development Program this season.

Drew is bringing a collection of ski jumping skis and will be stationed at the wax test hill, where he will share his expertise, demonstrate techniques, and inspire us all with the possibilities of this amazing sport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about ski jumping and take the first step in building what we hope will become a vibrant and exciting program at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club. Together with Ski Jumping Canada, we are keen to create new opportunities for our athletes and bring a fresh dimension to Nordic skiing in our community.

When: 10am-2pm

Snowshoe Tour

10:30-11am

Join our fabulous volunteers for a guided tour of our spectacular snowshoe trails! Experience the beauty of winter as you explore our network of singletrack bike trails, transformed into outstanding snowshoe routes during the snowy season.

Whether you are a seasoned snowshoer or trying it for the first time, this is a fantastic way to connect with nature, enjoy the trails, and learn more about this wonderful winter activity.

Need snowshoes? Snowshoe rentals are available in the rental shop, so you can hit the trails with ease!

We are thrilled to offer multiple options for tasty food throughout the day this season! Whether you are out on the trails or relaxing in the lodge, we have got you covered.

Rudy at the Gravel Pit:

As always, Rudy will be at the Gravel Pit with a warm fire, hot dogs, and hot chocolate available by donation (cash only). Be sure to stop by for a cozy trail-side treat!

Amazing Food in the Lodge:

We are excited to welcome a local food vendor to the lodge, offering a variety of outstanding meals and snacks. Their delicious creations are sure to keep you energized and satisfied while adding to the lively atmosphere in the lodge. The will be accepting cash/debit/credit throughout the day
