Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties Renews Membership for 35th Year

Working to Make Our Community Stronger

The Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties (ELCFV) renewed our membership because the Daytona Regional Chamber brings together the people, businesses, and organizations working to make our community stronger. The Chamber creates opportunities for meaningful relationships, shared learning, and collaboration around the issues that matter to our region. For ELCFV, it is also an important way to remind our community that early learning is closely connected to economic development. When families have access to affordable, reliable, high-quality early care and education, parents can work, businesses can retain employees, and children begin building the skills they will need for success in school and in life.

Being an actively engaged Chamber member allows ELCFV to build partnerships, better understand the needs of local employers, and connect the business community with opportunities to support young children and working families. It also gives us a valuable platform to share the essential role early childhood educators play in both today’s workforce and the workforce of the future. As ELCFV’s CEO and a Chamber board member, I am proud to support an organization that values collaboration and understands that a thriving community begins with strong families and children who are prepared to succeed.
