Happy June, Volunteers!
NJ LEEP afterschool programming for the 2020-21 school year wrapped up at the end of May. In a few short weeks, we will begin our 2021-22 summer program year with 385 students - 115 middle school students, 145 high school students, 125 college students, and more than 300 family members. You made that possible. Thank you for supporting our community!

May Event Highlight: Networking for Success
Last month, volunteers from Verizon led our annual Networking for Success event for high school freshmen to help students prepare for their summer week-on-the-job placements. This year’s session focused on virtual meeting etiquette and networking; volunteers worked in small groups with students to help them learn how to make the most of meetings and presentations on Zoom, shared best practices for getting to know new professionals, and talked through tips for networking and making an impression with a strong introduction. Thank you to our volunteers for a wonderful session which will help our students make the most of their summer!
