WELCOME FROM YOUR GRADE REPRESENTATIVES

Dear Junior Parents,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! If your family is new to St. Pius X Catholic School, we are especially  happy to welcome you to our community.

About the Home & School Association

The parent-led Home & School Association connects families with school leadership and coordinates  volunteers for grade-level and school-wide activities. To learn more, visit here.

As your grade representatives, we welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback—your input helps support a  vibrant, thriving school community.

Welcome to Junior Year!

Junior year is notorious for being the big push before applying to college a year from now or deciding what is  next after graduation. Many of our kids are taking multiple AP’s, while juggling sports and arts, along with  their regular classload, which includes their largest research paper to date. Some students have added a  part-time job to that list. And families might be trying to squeeze in visits to potential colleges and  universities where they can. Hopefully we haven’t scared you -- most students are ready for the challenge  and excited for the next step. We are here to help you stay on top of the most important dates and answer  any questions you might have. Three of your junior reps (Tiffany, Bree & Sarah) also have older children, so  please reach out with any questions. The Counseling Department is also a great resource and provides  students and parents with information and guidance on how to navigate junior year.

Please add these dates to your calendar:

Junior Parent Events

  • Tuesday, September 1 — Junior Kick Off Night: Junior students AND parents are invited to join the Counseling Department for a look at what to expect during junior year and how to prepare for senior year. Look for more details in a future eSpiritus from the Counseling Department.
