February 2025 Issue:

Bronco Family Newsletter

Welcome from the Office of

New Student Programs & Family Engagement

Greetings Bronco Family,

As we enter the second month of the year, we are reminded of the power of unity and community within our Bronco family. February offers many opportunities to grow, learn, and connect—both as individuals and as a collective. In this edition, we share important information on upcoming financial aid workshops, social events designed to bring students together, and details about our next Bronco Family Chat.

We also celebrate the accomplishments of our students and highlight events that strengthen the spirit of our shared journey. Additionally, as we observe Black History Month, we take this opportunity to honor the contributions, achievements, and legacy of those who have shaped our history and continue to inspire progress and unity.

In times of change and challenge, let us continue to support one another with kindness, understanding, and respect. Together, we create an environment where every Bronco feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Thank you for being an integral part of this incredible community.

G&G Block Party - THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Second Annual Green & Gold Block Party on February 1st! Your enthusiasm and support made the event a huge success. From cheering on our basketball teams to enjoying the games and festivities. We appreciate your continued involvement in building a vibrant, connected campus community and look forward to more celebrations together!

Emergency Preparedness Plan

With recent fires impacting many members of our Bronco community, we want to reinforce CPP’s commitment to campus safety and emergency preparedness. The Office of Emergency Management provides resources and guidance to ensure students, faculty, and staff stay informed and ready to respond.

In addition to emergency preparedness resources, students can also reach out to key campus partners for support during difficult times:

Students are encouraged to review the Emergency Operations Plan, update their contact information in BroncoDirect to receive alerts, and explore preparedness resources, available on their website with the link below.
