DePaul Community Resources in Roanoke, Virginia, is a non-profit human resources organization providing support for youth and foster parents. They wrote to us after receiving a shipment of MVOB blankets:
“We just received your generous in-kind donation of 60 blankets. Because of you, children and teens in the foster care system will know that their community cares about them and that they belong. The messages written by the people who made the blankets are so very special, and we know the children and teens we serve will cherish them.” Read complete letter

Foster Care Parents Needed As Children Entering System Continues to Rise

But, where will they go? That is the question. Read the article.

We are thrilled to partner with foster parent Adam P., who organized a blanket-making event in June at Brew Dog for family and friends that resulted in 30 blankets for kids in foster care.
Adam, a realtor with expRealty, is motivated by his experience as a foster parent to Shiloh, who will soon be his adopted son.
Adam is planning another event, a Mario Kart race and fundraiser in September. Learn more
