Items to Bring to Class
I know that some of you are traveling by air, so please do not worry if you can't bring all the items from this list - especially the bulky items. Arlington Camera will be providing some of these items for our class that you can borrow.
- Camera
- The lens we will use the most will be something in the 28mm-105mm range.
- If you don’t have a zoom in the above range, consider bringing a Wide angle, normal, and telephoto lens. (If you have something like a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm, that would be awesome. Don't worry if you don't have these lenses. Just bring what you have) Honestly, I don’t want you to bring too much because I don’t want you to have to keep up with it.
- Hand-held Light meter (if you have one)
- Off-camera flash set up (flash, umbrella/small softbox, stand) Don't worry if you don't have this.
- Remote trigger/receiver
- On camera flash/speedlight
- Tripod
- Reflector
- Camera Instruction book
- Flash instruction book
- Batteries for camera and flash and meter
- Chargers
If you don't have some of the above items or if you can't travel with them, it's OK. You can borrow our class equipment. Just know you will be sharing it with others.
Be sure to label all of your gear!
