Need Some Inspiration?

This year's theme is:

“ Runoff, Reef, Regulation… and Reality Checks ”

Queensland has some of the most beautiful and popular natural assets that drive huge economic benefits to the region. But are we doing enough to protect them? Do we actually understand what it is we are trying to protect? Have we had the reality check we need to truly understand the problem and move forward with solutions?

The 2019 Conference Program will be split into three streams. Abstracts that cross over several themes or topics are encouraged. If you need a bit of help to get the creative juices flowing for your abstract submission, take a look through some of the suggested topics below.

1. Strategy, policy, planning, community and education .

Effective governance and regulation at all levels of government
The environmental, community and economic realities of soil and water management
Risk management throughout the project cycle
The future of our water quality objectives

2. Science, engineering and innovation - new ways, old ways, better ways.
