The
Marblehead Rotary Club
is pleased to announce that it will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt this year on Sunday, April 28 at Seaside Park (behind the Our Lady Star of the Sea Community Center). This event is "weather permitting" and is open to all Marblehead residents 10 years of age and under. The
Marblehead Rotary Club
plans to donate 8,000+ chocolate eggs for this event and requests that all participants bring their own baskets and be at the park before 1:30 p.m., as it expects that, in keeping with past years, the young participants will pick up all the thousands of chocolate eggs within five to ten minutes of the start of the hunt. Go Get 'Em, kids!

New Scholarships Set in Memory of Marbleheader, David Stern
|
|
It's not too late! Do you remember that one special coach or mentor that really made a difference in your life? Well, for many in Marblehead, that person was longtime youth coach David Stern. Now, a committee of former Marblehead Youth Baseball parents, coaches and players is planning and raising funds for two new scholarships in memory of "Sterny" who sadly passed away nine years ago. One scholarship will be awarded to a former Marblehead Youth Softball or Marblehead Youth Baseball player, and another one to a student who has shown dedication in the Arts.
