A Message from Headmaster Scott
Dear Archway Trivium West Families,
As we take a few days to focus on gratitude, I would like to share a simple thought on the matter. History affords us beautiful tales of expressions of gratitude in dire circumstances. These stories are powerful and moving because they occur in situations where we might expect someone to (justifiably) feel sorry for himself, so the unexpected grateful response carries immense weight. We, perhaps, have observed this firsthand. Why is it that certain individuals can see through turmoil and hardship and identify something to be grateful for? I would like to suggest that it is their focus. They see beyond the obstacle immediately in front of them. Within that larger vision, they are able to identify the good, and by so doing, they feel gratitude where others cannot. In some ways, gratitude is a choice. We choose to adopt the larger vision. In other ways it is a skill. Even if we want to adopt the larger view, we must possess the ability to do so. This is good news. It means that gratitude is something we can all develop, we just need to choose and practice. Enjoy your time, and I look forward to our return next week.
Heartily Devoted,
Dr. Clay Scott

PSO Snowstorm - 2021 Faculty and Staff Holiday Appreciation | | |
The PSO Snowstorm is underway, now through December 9! Snowstorm is an easy way to show love to our teachers during the holidays. Families who contribute to Snowstorm by December 3 will have their scholar’s name printed in a holiday card presented to teachers and staff during a special holiday breakfast in early December.
Each year at the holidays, our community joins in the collective giving spirit in a tradition known as Snowstorm. In lieu of gifts for each of your scholar’s six teachers, show your appreciation by giving an offering of thanks to be divided among Archway Trivium West faculty and staff. This year, we are asking families to consider a gift of $50 per scholar to help us reach our $10,000 goal. This would mean a holiday gift of $175 for each full-time staff member! Snowstorm is a unique opportunity to show support to our wonderful community and is a beloved tradition here at Archway Trivium West. A donations of ANY amount is greatly appreciated, after first giving to Community Investment.
Follow the steps below to help us Fall into a Snowstorm!
Families who have not already given are asked to first give to Community Investment before giving a Snowstorm Holiday Gift. Please consider giving to help us reach our goal!
First, Give to Community Investment
Then, Give to the PSO Snowstorm
