Hello, Colerain Business Community and Future Members!

Are you wondering why we decided to name this newsletter Spark?

When we sat down to think about what this Chamber represents, we kept coming back to one simple truth: great things rarely start with a massive explosion. They start with a single, tiny, energetic spark.

We named our newsletter “Spark” because that is exactly what the Colerain Chamber of Commerce is designed to be for your business, your church, your organization, your school and our incredible community. It is the catalyst that gets things moving. Think of this newsletter as your flash of inspiration that breaks up your routine. It will help to light your path for the month ahead!

Let’s look at how that little word ties perfectly into our core motto: Connect, Celebrate, and Support.

· Connect (The Friction): You can't get a spark without a little friction, the good kind! In our world, that means striking up new relationships. When we bring you together at our networking events, business after-hours, or local scavenger hunts, we are rubbing shoulders (figuratively and literally!) to generate that initial, exciting static energy.

· Celebrate (The Light): What does a spark do once it catches? It lights up the room! We are here to throw some serious fuel on your fire. When we ribbon-cut a new business, hand out Snazzy Awards, or gather at events like our Hometown Hero nights, we are celebrating the bright, shining lights in our township.

· Support (The Flame): A spark is vulnerable on its own; it needs a shelter and some kindling to grow into a sustainable, roaring fire. That is where our support comes in. Whether you need educational resources, advocacy, marketing visibility, or just a peer to bounce ideas off of, the Chamber is here to protect and feed your flame so your business can truly warm up the local economy.

The Chamber is here to encourage you to FIND YOUR SPARK:

· In Business: Is it time to launch that new service, partner with a neighboring business, or finally redesign your lobby?

· In Family: Find the spark in a shared adventure, maybe planning a memorable outing or simply taking a Friday night to explore a new local spot together.

· In Community: Roll up your sleeves and get involved! Whether it's lending a hand in local beautification efforts like "Team Up to Green Up" or simply showing up to support a local high school event, your community spark is waiting to be struck.

Celebrate Chamber of Commerce Day at Oktoberfest!

Join us on Sunday, August 30, from 12:00–7:00 PM at the Germania Society for a day of great food, live music, family fun, and Oktoberfest traditions. Best of all, Colerain Chamber members receive free admission! Gather your family and friends and come celebrate one of the area's favorite annual festivals while connecting with fellow Chamber members. We hope to see you there!

Trade the office for the bowling alley and join us for a fun evening of networking at Rollhouse Fairfield on September 3rd at 5:30pm! Whether you're looking to make new business connections, catch up with fellow members, or simply enjoy a relaxed night out, this is the perfect opportunity to connect.

For just $25, Chamber members receive up to two hours of bowling, shoe rental, one drink ticket, and light snacks. Guests are welcome for $35, or choose the Networking Only option for $15 if you'd rather skip the bowling and focus on making connections.
