MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO
As we mark the 80th Anniversary of Exceptional Children’s Foundation, I find myself filled with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude—for our mission, for our history, and most of all, for you.
For eight decades, this organization has stood as a place of hope, dignity, and opportunity for children and adults with special needs and their families. That legacy was built by dedicated people who believed—just as we do today—that every individual deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered to live their fullest life.
But anniversaries are not really about numbers. They are about people. They are about the relationships you build, the trust you earn, and the lives you change—thousands each year.
Every student who finds their voice, every adult who gains greater independence, every family who feels less alone—those moments exist because of your support for our mission and those we serve.
As we look back on 80 remarkable years, we also look forward with optimism and determination. The needs of the people we serve continue to grow, and so does our responsibility to meet them with innovation, compassion, and excellence. I know that with our extraordinary team, our dedicated volunteers, and our ever-growing network of supporters like you, our next chapter will be even more impactful than the last.
