After a particularly cold and icy period, signs of Spring are finally breaking through! And soon our local parks, playgrounds, and ball fields will be full of children and youth who are more than ready to dive back into warm-weather sports.
As new athletic seasons begin, LAC is pleased to facilitate a timely and hopefully helpful conversation in our community. In recent years, medical professionals and concerned citizens have looked for ways to make our parks and public spaces safer and healthier. One strategy that has gained local support is the strategic placement of AED devices in places where sports or strenuous activities are common. Thanks to the leadership of LAC Deacon Chris Templeman, we have assembled a panel of experts and advocates who will talk about why these efforts are so valuable for our community... and how they are already making our parks safer for athletes of every age.
Come out and join us for an evening of valuable information, relevant conversation, and connection with active members of our community. That, as always, is what SEEKERS is all about!
You can scan the QR code below or use this link to register. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome.
Also, for this event, free childcare will be available at the church. To take advantage of this, you need only to give 72 hours notice and email agclaunch@lacny.org.
Spread the word and come with a friend, too.
