VBCF is joining the National Breast Cancer Coalition and advocates nationwide for a Day of Action to Protect Science and Innovation.
The President’s FY2026 budget proposal includes an $18 billion cut to the National Institutes of Health (NIH)—the largest proposed cut to any federal agency. Additional proposed rescissions could pull back another $30 billion already approved for the National Science Foundation, HHS, and other agencies funding critical health research.
These devastating cuts would slow—or stop—life-saving breast cancer research. They put lives at risk.
