Superfund, Scoping, Housing
5/21/2019
Hope Tuesday is treating you well and the joy of this email is merely a small addition, not
unlike the small chance of rain this evening
. .
We have 3 committee meetings left for the week along with plenty of other stuff within, and beyond, our district that you can mull over, below...
Tonight, beginning at 6 PM our
Executive Committee meets
to finalize our
Gowanus Scoping submission
,
YHSE on Wednesday
, and finally
Landmarks & Land Use Committee
on Thursday.
On
Gowanus-
please note that you can also
submit your own comments
here and to not forget about
next week’s Superfund town hall.
The
City Council Parks hearing
, which I mentioned last week
in connection with our support for the #Playfair campaign
, is tomorrow.
Tomorrow is also
DOE's 3rd annual sustainability showcase
at which our very own Human Services chair, Kathy Park Price's group,
Garden Train ,will be featured.
Can't harp on extinction enough
.
Harsh Housing, but avoidable, reality
but if you’re in the mood to watch a Senate hearing might I interest you in
last week’s housing hearing
chaired by
Senator Brian Kavanagh.
Alternate Side Parking rules, and meters, will be in effect tomorrow, May 21st.
Subway service changes for tomorrow, May 22nd
.
Bus service changes for tomorrow, tomorrow, May 22nd.
As always, feel free to share this information anyway you’d like.
