This will be my third time back to Angkor and I'm thrilled to continue my archaeoastronomy and geometry research there with you! This time we are going deep into the jungle as well - to Kulen Mountain to see the site of Phnom Kulen which has been in the news of late and a remote ruins named Koh Ker that has the region's only temples aligned to zenith passage sun rise. My 2010 research led to that discovery (published by an Italian archaeoastronomer just this year) and now we'll focus on what may be happening at another major solar station - summer solstice.
