Hi everyone,

As we head into the second half of 2025, it's a great moment to reflect on what makes IrishAngels so special and where we're going next.

IrishAngels is an early-stage angel investing network made up of accredited investors connected through the Notre Dame community. We invest $150k to $1mm in pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds across software, consumer, and healthcare. While our investor network is rooted in Notre Dame, the companies we back don’t need a university tie. Our focus is simple: back great founders building meaningful companies and support them with real partnership along the way.

What really sets IrishAngels apart is our community. This group shows up. We make introductions, share expertise, open doors, and actively help the companies we invest in succeed. We believe in doing good deals with good people and in building relationships that last beyond a single round.

Nichefire — Seed

• A predictive Cultural Intelligence platform that makes it easy to uncover emerging consumer trends and capitalize on opportunities that drive growth.

ScalABLe (formally GoDo) — Seed (Follow-on Investment)

• ScalABLe is a no-code asset-based lending software platform that accelerates lender growth with tailored efficiency, customization, and data transparency.

Kinspire Health — Bridge

• Kinspire Health is revolutionizing pediatric occupational and speech therapy with a new, proven, continuous care delivery model.

DeepWalk — Seed

• DeepWalk is an automated inspection software that uses LiDAR scanners in the iPhone to measure sidewalk systems for accessibility compliance.

Thousand Fell / SuperCircle — Series A (Follow-on Investment) 

• A full-service technology and reverse logistics platform powering circularity for the world's best retail brands.

View.io — Seed (Follow-on Investment)

• An end-to-end enterprise AI platform that enables organizations to securely turn their raw data into AI-powered chat and actionable intelligence, making all enterprise knowledge searchable, understandable, and usable across teams while maintaining full control and data privacy.

GenomicMD — Bridge

• A novel clinical genomics platform that improves outcomes via inherited risk screening for major common diseases (cardiovascular, cancer, diabetes, blood clotting, etc).

Chime IPO

Chime went public on NASDAQ (CHYM) in June with a $994mm IPO. Shares surged 59% on opening, validating our early bet on the future of consumer fintech.

Gatsby → eToro IPO

IrishAngels backed Gatsby in 2019, which was acquired by eToro in 2022. eToro IPO'd this May on NASDAQ (ETOR), bringing Gatsby’s vision full circle on the public markets.

Carpe Acquired

Carpe, the sweat-focused personal care brand we backed before it went viral on TikTok, was recently acquired by Topspin Partners, a private equity firm specializing in growing branded consumer products and services companies.

Q1 2025 — Boom Supersonic | Denver, Colorado

IrishAngels had the chance to visit Boom Supersonic’s Colorado HQ for an inside look at what they’re building. Boom is developing Overture, a supersonic passenger jet that will fly at Mach 1.7, run on sustainable aviation fuel, and cut transatlantic flight times in half.

We toured their production facility, saw the XB-1 demonstrator that recently hit supersonic speeds, and learned more about their custom-built Symphony engine. With airline partners like United, American, and Japan Airlines already on board, Boom plans to begin engine testing this year and is targeting commercial launch in 2029.

Thank you to IrishAngels investor Gary Gigot for helping make the visit happen, Notre Dame Alum and Aircraft Systems Lead Erin Young, and to the rest of the Boom team for showing us around. It was a fascinating look at where commercial aviation is headed.
