We can't wait to greet you in Trondheim!

The Annual Symposium is only one month away! Join scientists, engineers, clinicians and industry leaders for a very special 25th Annual Celebration of ISTU at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The Local Organizers and Scientific Committee have planned a fantastic program featuring the latest breakthroughs in the field from internationally recognized experts and pioneering researchers.

We are excited to announce we received an all time record high number of abstract submissions, and are on track to have more than 500 attendees join from all around the world. Don't miss the chance to explore recent advancements through lecture sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, industry exhibits and demonstrations. Unique social events will allow attendees to explore the Norweigan culture and enjoy networking within the collaborative ISTU community.

A major goal of this year’s symposium is to provide a forum for reporting clinical therapeutic ultrasound outcomes while facilitating clinician and translational scientist collaboration to advance the field of therapeutic ultrasound forward and help more patients gain the benefits of therapeutic ultrasound. Towards that goal, we will kick off on June 15th with a full day of clinical and educational programs aimed at presenting clinical outcomes that are highly relevant to all of our attendees. This session has been planned by the ISTU Clinical Committee and Scientific Committee, and is brought to attendees by the support of the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. We are also offering a special one day attendance rate for clinicians, so please help spread the word.

If you can't attend in person, you can still engage with all meeting attendees virtually. You'll have the added benefit of watching all of the recorded sessions on your own schedule. The Virtual Platform will open to all attendees on Sunday, June 14th.

The Welcome Reception will be on Tuesday, June 16th at the NTNU Student Round House, Studenter Samfunnet, and will kick-off with an exuberant choir performance. This event is free for all meeting attendees, and reservations are made during the registration process. The Welcome Reception is brought to attendees by the support of Verasonics.

The Gala Event will be held on Wednesday, June 17th. The evening will begin with a very special organ concert at Nidarosdomen, the Nidaros Cathedral. Experience the beautiful music in the world’s northernmost medieval cathedral which has been a pilgrim destination for almost 1000 years!

After the concert, we will walk next door to the Archbishop's Palace to celebrate with colleagues over a dinner of Norwegian delights in a traditional atmosphere! The castle is one of the largest medieval stone structures in Scandinavia and the oldest walls are likely from the 13th century.
