TDEG recently visited the construction site for the new Ives Bank headquarters across town in Danbury, CT to observe the ground improvement operations. Rammed Aggregate Piers (RAP's) were specified by GeoDesign, Inc., the project geotechnical engineer, to improve the subsurface soils and provide the required bearing capacity to support the foundation and substructure designed by TDEG. |
