Milan Homola, moved to Minnesota with his family in 2018 and was immediately connected to Amplify because of his role as a nonprofit CEO. He quickly jumped into our community, sharing his gifts and skills to amplify other organizations.
In the past year, Milan has generously shared his strategic thinking and planning skills with The Haven and Print the Love, working one-on-one with the organization's leaders to conduct strategy sessions.
Milan shared about his work with The Haven, "The Haven captured my attention because of their leadership structure and story. Having been a co-founder and growing an organization for 17 years nationally, I knew the challenges of shared leadership amongst passionate people. I had a desire to serve The Haven by helping them take the next steps in organizational clarity while not losing the relational DNA. It was clear they needed to evolve their leadership structure in a major way."
Milan was able to help the co-founders consider options for their leadership structure and address the natural "founders' concerns." Once a target was in place, he managed their project proposal process for the board meeting where they would consider moving forward with hiring an Executive Director, which included elements such as budgeting, job descriptions, vision narratives, founder roles, and investment needs.
Bethany O'Reilly, cofounder of the Haven shared, "Milan has met with us regularly and been extremely helpful! We are really excited for some big staffing changes coming in 2024 that should allow us to grow even more!" With Milan's guidance, The Haven team recently presented their plan and the board unanimously voted to move ahead with hiring an executive director!
Ceallaigh Smart, founder of Print the Love shared, "Milan recently facilitated a strategy session for our board and he was fabulous! He did a great job setting us up for 2024! Another win that has come out of my time at Amplify."
Thank you, Milan for so generously giving your time and talent to bring meaningful impact to The Haven and Print the Love. You can learn more about Milan and his work at milanvictor.com.
