Early Learning Update Week of February 6^th, 2023

·      Registration for Virtual Early Learning Professional Development Day closes tonight, February 6^th at 11:59pm.  Zoom links for registered participants will be sent out by end of the day Tuesday, February 7^th

·      Fulcrum Early Childhood Education Grant opens today, February 6^th  

·      Friday, March 10^th In-Person Event Registration will open Wednesday, February 8^th

·      No Early Learning Roundtable or Butterfly Pediatrics Sessions this month due to PD Day

1.)   Registration for Virtual Early Learning Professional Development Day closes tonight, February 6^th at 11:59pm.  Zoom links for registered participants will be sent out by end of the day Tuesday, February 7^th

Registration for the 3^rd Annual Virtual Early Learning Professional Development Day on Friday, February 10^th, closes tonight, February 6^th at 11:59pm. By the end of the day on Tuesday, February 7^th I will send out session zoom links and details to all registered participants.  Please share the link I sent to you last week for registration with the rest of your staff teams. For those in Licensed Programs each session is worth 2 STARS hours, so if you take a training at all three sessions it will be worth 6 STARS hours for the day.  Looking forward to a great day of learning!

2.)   Fulcrum Early Childhood Education Grant opens today, February 6^th  

This morning I will send you the application link, details and additional resources for the Fulcrum Early Childhood Education Fund Grant. The Application will be open for one month and will close on Monday, March 6^th. At our January Early Learning Roundtable I presented an overview of the grant. Please click on the link below for that video. Looking forward to another great year of applications.

3.)   Friday, March 10^th In-Person Event Registration will open Wednesday, February 8^th

On Wednesday, February 8^th I will be sending an RSVP link to you for the Friday, March 10^th In-Person Early Learning Event at St. Thomas Church in Tukwila. In that communication I will also include agenda, objectives and other details for the day. I look forward to the time we will be able to share together. 

4.)   No Early Learning Roundtable or Butterfly Pediatrics Sessions this month due to PD Day

Due to the Early Learning Professional Development Day on Friday, February 10^th we will not have the Early Learning Roundtable this month (February 9^th) and Butterfly Pediatric Session (February 17^th) – Butterfly Pediatric will be one of our presenters at the PD Day putting on the session “I’m Not Naughty, I’m Stressed” Framework for managing emotions and behaviors. We will get back to our regular cadence of meetings in March.
