We want you to know that attendance at rehearsals yesterday was good and the orchestras are coming along nicely!
As you all know, many school districts have cancelled classes beginning on Monday, to help to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, and we concur with these decisions.
Because the situation is so fluid, CVYO has decided to take a "week by week" approach and want you to know that rehearsals for next Thursday, March 19th, have been cancelled. It is not necessary to report an absence.
We encourage our musicians to play more frequently than usual, and to use music as a tool to connect deeply with their emotions. We plan to share online resources and recommendations on how to practice the repertoire for the upcoming week(s), and other ideas for guiding their practice remotely. (Students - We want to hear from you and how you are keeping the music going. Please share via
