What's New at RCBM This June

June is PTSD Awareness Month — a time to recognize that trauma can affect the mind and body long after an experience has passed.

PTSD may impact sleep, mood, concentration, relationships, and daily functioning. At RCBM, we provide evidence-based trauma treatment in a safe, supportive environment.

Healing is possible — and no one has to navigate it alone.

Understanding EMDR Therapy

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps people process traumatic experiences and reduce their emotional impact.

In this video, Judith C. Redmond, LPC, LLP, CAADC, explains how EMDR works and why it can be helpful for PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms.

Men’s Heart Month

June is Men’s Health Month, a good reminder for men to check in on both physical and emotional well-being. Heart disease remains a leading health concern, and factors like nutrition, stress, sleep, and mental health all play an important role in long-term heart health.

RCBM’s registered dietitians can help patients build realistic, sustainable habits that support heart health without feeling restrictive or overwhelming.

RCBM's Medabolic Program Featured in Hour Detroit's 2026 Health Guide

We're proud to share that RCBM's Medabolic Program was recently featured in Hour Detroit's 2026 Health Guide in an article titled "Losing Well."

The article highlights how our registered dietitians help patients build sustainable habits while using GLP-1 medications. Their message is simple: successful weight management isn't just about eating less—it's about supporting metabolism, preserving muscle, building healthy routines, and improving overall well-being.

The feature also highlights Medabolic's multidisciplinary approach, bringing together medical providers, dietitians, and therapists to support patients with both the physical and emotional aspects of weight management.
