Greetings!
Rail Station Studios will host a free portrait painting demonstration featuring five local professional portrait painters. They will paint from a live model from 6:00 till 9:00 PM.
You will be able to watch these talented painters every step of the process of painting a likeness from a live sitter.
Award winning artists included in the event are Sue Killingsworth, Linda Smith, Jan Mathews, Susan Annand and Gene Dillard.
The gallery is located in Plano’s Historic Downtown Arts District at 1013 15th Place. (Near the DART rail station) It is home to the work of seven top local artists as well as the studios for three of those artists. The studio/gallery will be open during the demo so you can view the work of all the artists.
While you are in the neighborhood, check out the ArtCentre of Plano event, "JAZZ UNDER THE STARS," just across Haggard Park from our studio.
