CAFFEINE and COLLABORATION:

There’s nothing like a morning cup of collaboration! Our recent “Caffeine & Collaboration” Zoom brought together 30 supervisors from our Corporate Work Study partners to share ideas, celebrate student successes, and strengthen our partnerships. We were thrilled to receive 35 RSVPs and such enthusiastic participation!

During the session, Dean Graziano, VP of CWSP and Chanelly Vargas, CWSP Relationship Manager highlighted key dates and upcoming programming — including an invitation for supervisors to join our Student Acceptance Committee this winter.

🗓 Next Session: November 19 | 7:45–8:15 a.m.

Supervisors:

Grab your coffee and join us for the next round of “Caffeine & Collaboration”!

NDCR  juniors and seniors had the unforgettable opportunity to see the award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton in Boston, an inspiring experience that brought history, music, and storytelling to life!

A special thank-you to Rodman for Kids for generously providing the tickets and making this educational experience possible. We’re also deeply grateful to Dean of Student Life, Bailey Magazzu, for organizing the trip in collaboration with our History Department.

Moments like these remind us how learning extends far beyond the classroom—connecting our students to culture, creativity, and the stories that shape our world.

NDCR Students volunteered alongside Campus Minister Jill Joyce at the Merrimack Valley Dream Center, living our mission through service to the community. Together, they spent the day organizing donations, preparing resources for families, and sharing kindness with those in need.

Through opportunities like this, NDCR students grow as compassionate leaders, putting their faith into action and embodying the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur—especially the call to “stand with the poor and the marginalized in the search for justice.”

Richard Piecewicz, Librarian & NHS Advisor and The Saint Julie Billiart Chapter of the National Honor Society at NDCR is both proud and pleased to announce its officers for the 2025 - 2026 School Year.

They are as follows:

Exploring Worlds Through Words at the Lawrence International Book Fair

NDCR was proud to host authors from the Lawrence International Book Fair, a vibrant celebration of literature, culture, and creativity. The fair brings together authors, poets, artists, and young readers from across New England and beyond, all in one inspiring space.

During their visit, authors shared their writing journeys, discussed the power of storytelling, and engaged our students in meaningful conversations about creativity and self-expression. NDCR students and Spanish teacher José Capellán also presented during the event, sharing insights from our bilingual classrooms and demonstrating how language connects cultures and builds community.

We were thrilled that our Spanish Department was featured in the fair’s official publication, highlighting NDCR’s commitment to literacy.

This special program was made possible through Vice Principal Mabel Dominguez, who brought this opportunity to our campus!

Thank you to the Lawrence International Book Fair organizers, guest authors, and all who helped celebrate the joy of reading, storytelling, and cultural exchange at NDCR.

Planned Giving and Tribute Gifts

Create a legacy that lasts for generations. A planned gift or a donation made in honor or memory of a loved one supports Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School’s mission to provide a faith-based, college preparatory education to deserving students of limited financial means.

Your generosity ensures that NDCR can continue transforming lives - helping students become the scholars, leaders, and people of faith our world needs.
