July was one of those months that reminded me how quickly life moves—and how important it is to pause and enjoy the experiences along the way.

Between family visits, creative projects, networking events, a quick trip to Chicago, and even an unexpected visit to the emergency vet, it certainly wasn't a boring month!

Here's a little glimpse into it.

🇺🇸 Family Time for the Fourth of July

Having my daughter home for the holiday weekend was the perfect excuse to unplug and create new memories together.

One of our favorite adventures was visiting Crystal River, where we spent the day kayaking through crystal-clear waters and enjoying Florida's incredible natural beauty.

Then on Sunday we switched from nature to art.

A Day with Salvador Dalí

We spent the afternoon at the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg.

I've always admired Dalí's imagination, but seeing his work in person is a completely different experience.

Two paintings especially captured my attention:

• Lincoln in Dalivision

• The Hallucinogenic Toreador



If you're ever in the Tampa Bay area and haven't visited yet, I highly recommend it.

Art has a wonderful way of making us slow down and look at the world a little differently.

Of course... no family day is complete without good food.

Peruvian cuisine...followed by sushi.

Definitely no complaints there!

🚚 Quick Trip to Chicago

A few days later, I flew to Chicago to help my daughter move into her new off-campus apartment. While I was there, I also stopped by BAM Studios for a few recording pickups.It was great catching up with Dave, who is always incredibly welcoming.

He also recommended trying Skyline Chili—which, coincidentally, is only about nine minutes from my home here in Clearwater.

Needless to say... he was right!

🐾 A Scary Day... and a Happy Ending

Our furry daughter, Ali, had what was supposed to be a routine surgery.

Unfortunately, things didn't go exactly as planned, and we ended up making an unexpected trip to the emergency veterinary hospital.

Thankfully, after a stressful day, she's now fully recovered and back to her happy, energetic self.



We're incredibly grateful everything turned out well.

Disney Through New Eyes

Later in the month, my sister and her family visited from Mexico.

It was my nephew's—and my brother-in-law's—very first visit to Disney World.

Watching someone experience Disney for the first time is almost as much fun as experiencing it yourself.

Seeing their excitement reminded me why Disney never really loses its magic.



⚽ A Day to Remember

One of the month's most exciting moments?

Watching the FIFA Club World Cup Final surrounded by Spanish friends at a local Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere was absolutely electric.

It felt like being transported to Spain for a couple of hours.

A special congratulations to my friends at Iberian Media—I couldn't help but think of you during such a memorable day for Spanish football!

Learning Never Stops

Professionally, July was equally rewarding.

I attended a local Business Expo where I had the opportunity to be interviewed, reconnect with fellow professionals, and even meet the author of a networking book that immediately found its way into my reading list.

I also attended another excellent AMA Tampa Bay event focused on experiential marketing.

One of my favorite parts of networking isn't collecting business cards.

It's collecting ideas.

Every conversation teaches me something new.

Looking Ahead...

August will be another exciting month!

I'll be traveling to LAS VEGAS for a very one of a kind event. Gathering with freinds to learn a new table game (for me, lol) and hopefully very busy recording Political Spots, Medical narrations and more...
