I hope you have had a good week. I missed seeing you last Sunday, as we were at our first parents weekend for our college-aged son. A wonderful story was told to eager children in Children's Chapel about the Creation. There is no Godly play this week; however....

1. There is Godly Play on Sunday, October 30!

The story will be Noah's Ark! (We can still use the rain around here, despite some recent rainy days last week.)

Bring your young ones to Children's Chapel at 9;45am. Patty and Diane will bring them to the Big Church in time for the Eucharist. While aimed at K-through 7 y.o. this Godly Play curriculum captivates children of all ages.

2.Appeal Update: Thanks to your generosity, Grateful Hearts Reaching Out has raised $94,315 from 22 households as of Friday, October 14! The public campaign runs through November 6. 3. New Postings for Church School job. Pray that suitable candidates apply for it. That position is here. Postings at local divinity schools and other sites have not produced a single bite. Vestry members advised me that I should post the description on the Facebook pages of the elementary schools in town, as well as on the Needham Parents Facebook page. Look for those to go up in the next couple of days.
