Project Overview & Benefits

The City of Miami Beach began improvements on two subaqueous water mains that cross the Collins Canal just south of Dade Boulevard between 22 and 23 Streets.

The project involves replacing two inactive yet essential subaqueous water mains with new, larger‑diameter pipelines designed to improve system capacity and support long‑term infrastructure needs. Once completed, the upgraded mains will provide increased flow to meet the city’s growing demand and enhance water distribution throughout the surrounding area.
