Happy November from IH Parts America!

November is here and that means the leaves are turning colors and dropping everywhere. It also means that the holidays are near. Read below to find out the highlights of this past month at IHPA as well as what this next month has in store.

We gathered for the 19th Annual IH Sierra Fall Rallye. It was yet another epic event with a record turnout. Below is the story on how the weekend went.

One of our guys has retired. See below who you will no longer see behind the parts counter or hear on the other end of the phone.

Lots of new products have hit the shelves in the past two months. See below to find out what is new.

Work continues to roll out of the shop. See below to check on what the guys have been up to.

The 19th Annual International Harvester Sierra Fall Rallye was another huge success. If you were able to join us we thank you and hope you had a wonderful time. If you couldn't join us, well here is what you missed.

Beginning on Friday morning, those that had signed up for our runs lined up behind our trail leaders Zaed and Robert. Zaed took his group up to the Eagle Lakes area where the group wheeled around Pearce Loop and a tad of Fordyce Trail. Robert took his group over to Bridgeport to view the historic covered bridge and then traveled over to Malakoff Diggings to look at old mining sites. Once back from their prospective runs, participants were able to pick up their goodie bags, and then the group led a percession thru downtown Grass Valley ending at IH Parts America for a complimentary hamburger and open house.

Saturday was the main day of the event. All the vehicles were lined up for display, and vendors opened. Lunch was served around noon courtesy of Craig Johnson and the remaining BABS crew. Vehicle games followed and then everyone gathered around the registration booth for the kid's and adult raffle. Those that purchased dinner tickets were fed well by Norma and crew at the hall next door.

To finish off the weekend on Sunday morning, Norma and crew fed everyone breakfast and then we followed it up with the awards ceremony. Congratulations to all those that took home a trophy!

Planning for the 20th annual event is already happening. We hope to announce a date soon and open up registration much earlier than years past. Stay Tuned!

After an illustrious career here at IH Parts America our one and only Mike Hill (aka MJ) retired earlier this month. He is packing his bags and from the clue written on his shirt I think you can figure out where he is headed for retirement. Beyond the 7 1/2 years working here, Mike has been a great friend to the Ismail family for over 30 years and an IH nut for longer than that. We wish him the best in retirement but look forward to our continued friendship in life.

It's November which means Thanksgiving time, pumpkin lattes and our annual IH Black & Red Sale. The biggest sale of the year starts on Monday November 23rd and lasts nine days ending on Tuesday December 1st.

Mark your calendars as this is our biggest sale of the year with the deepest discounts, and as always a free gift comes with your order! Lots of CPT products and new products will be on sale, so stay tuned for another newsletter later this month for more details.

We finally have brand new door latches for all 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler. Most Scout II’s have worn out paws on the cam that latches your door, or the springs are too worn out causing trouble-some shutting.

These include the retainers for the lock rod and the door latch control. Screws are also included to affix to your door.

They are in stock - and you can check them out here

New from Vintage Air, we have this new GEN IV Vintage Air Surefit system for your Scout II. These are a premium system that includes everything from the condenser to the switches in the dash.

The kit includes a new HVAC control panel that replaces the mechanical one in the dash, a new under-dash unit, glove box, lines, hoses, A/C compressor bracket, evaporator unit, and all other things besides refrigerant! Great way to get rid of your heater box and make for some more room in your engine bay. We have these for the IH V8 engine, the LS Series (5.3/6.0) & (6.2).

Check them out here

We have had softtop kits in the works for a while with a new manufacturer, finally we can show you how they fit. These new softtop kits include everything you need to install your new top on your 118” wheelbase. We have these in Tan and Black with clear windows in the rear. Kit includes all the aluminum rails and button snaps to affix. A Scout II steel tailgate (or a Terra one) is needed for the install, as a hatch is no longer needed for this kit.
