We have more updates for the first annual Buckeye Lake Pirate Festival which is about 2 weeks away on Saturday May 18, 2024. The festival is for the public, Pirates, Steampunk and Mermaids , fans and friends!

This weekend watch Out n About Columbus for a Pirate Fest Special featuring local businesses and their promotions and specials offered on Pirate Fest Day - May 18, 2024.

Local Hotels and Campgrounds

Have you reserved your hotel or campsite yet? Make it an overnight excursion and get a room or campsite. Don't wait, they are filling up. Check out the properties above and go to our website for links.

Parking Options during Pirate Fest

There's a large parking lot a half block to our East. Cost is $5 with the donation going to the local Boy Scout Troup.

There are a couple small parks nearby with parking lots, a few blocks from the Pirate trade show.

We're also working with shuttles for park and ride options. There will be Parking & Shuttle bus rides at Pizza Cottage and Hereinafter Cocktail Tavern to the Pirate Trade Show. Shuttle runs every 20 minutes.

The Buckeye Lake KOA is offering FREE shuttle rides for campers to the Pirate Trade Show too. The KOA has been fully booked for Pirate Fest since March.

Join us for Special Tours! There are 13 Special Tours where you may search for Treasure with friends and groups. Each Tour has a meet up location where you get a Treasure Map, a hosted tour guide flyer with locations where businesses are hosting special tour participants. Some tour sponsors are offering free Pirate Fest flags (while supplies last).

Jeep Pirate Treasure Hunt

Meet up with fellow Jeepers for a Treasure Hunt around Buckeye Lake.

Sat May 18, 11 am to noon, put on your pirate gear & meet at the Mill Dam Corner Grille! Collect your Treasure Map, a list of Jeep Hosted Event locations & a pirate flag for your Jeep (while supplies last).

There will be 11+ locations with Treasure Chests that are hosting Jeeps. The Jeep Pirate Treasure Hunt Tour is sponsored by John Hinderer CDJR,

Meet up with fellow bikers for a Treasure Hunt around Buckeye Lake.

Sat May 18, 2 pm to 4 pm, tag some pirate gear & meet at Roadhouse Cycles! Collect your Treasure Map, a list of Motorcycle Hosted Event locations

& a pirate flag for your bike (while supplies last).

Register to win their Treasure Chest too!

There will be 9+ locations with Treasure Chests that are hosting Motorcycles, they have larger parking lots for groups of bikes. The Pirate Fest Ride is sponsored by Roadhouse Cycles.



Pickup Truck Pirate Treasure Hunt

Meet up with fellow Pickup Truckers for a Treasure Hunt around Buckeye Lake.

Sat May 18, 11 am to 2 pm, put on your pirate gear, hop in your Truck & meet at CRT Realtors! Collect your Treasure Map, a list of Truck Hosted Event locations & a pirate flag for your Truck (while supplies last).

There will be 10+ locations with Treasure Chests that are hosting Pickup Trucks. The Pickup Truck Pirate Tour is sponsored by CRT Realtors,

Advance registration is free and optional. For people that do register: the first 300 people registered will receive a free bandana that may be picked up the day of show (you will be notified that you are eligible the week of the show to pick one up).  Limit one bandana per registration via email provided; must be 18 years or older.  Don't wait to register, we're almost out of the bandanas.
