Dear STPPS Family,

The halls are once again filled with energy, excitement, and the sounds of learning as the new school year is underway in St. Tammany Parish Public Schools. As we build a legacy together, we look forward to all that this school year will bring and the many successes we’ll celebrate along the way.

Please take a look below to see what's ahead and the latest news. Thank you for being an integral part of the St. Tammany Parish Public School System.

Tuition-Free Welding Training for High School Students

We are expanding our partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Bayou Chapter and EXCEL USA to provide a tuition-free welding workforce training program for high school students ages 16 and older.

The program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on skills and industry experience while working toward an industry-based credential (IBC).

Get Future Ready: Career & College Expo

All students and families in St. Tammany Parish are invited to attend and visit with representatives from a wide variety of colleges, universities, technical colleges, apprenticeships, military and business and industry partners.

The expo will occur Monday, October 12 at the Castine Center in Mandeville and Monday, October 19 at the Harbor Center in Slidell. Both events will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
