Message from Family Sharing

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive a Huge Success!

Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our community, thousands of pounds of food were collected for Family Sharing, helping local families in need.

Special thanks to:

  • Our amazing Post Offices who partnered with local food pantries to coordinate this massive effort. Grafton, Cedarburg, Mequon and Thiensville gave to Family Sharing!
  • Every community member who took the time to shop and donate food.
  • The dedicated letter carriers who picked up thousands of bags along their routes – we’re so grateful for your hard work. Mequon-Thiensville brought in record breaking pounds of food!
  • Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly for generously donating bags for the food drive.
  • Grafton Transit, who helped transport the donations to the pantry.
  • Portal Inc. for helping store some of the food as it gets sorted and distributed to pantry clients.

Together, we showed the power of community. Thank you for helping us Stamp Out Hunger!

Pat and her late husband John, have been incredibly generous with their time and expertise, helping Family Sharing appraise donated items that come into our retail store. Their deep knowledge allows us to accurately assess the value of each piece, and when an item holds more value when melted down, always with our mission in mind.

All proceeds from these donations go directly back to supporting our food pantry, helping us serve families in need throughout our community.

Go Green with Family Sharing!

Family Sharing is in need of brown paper grocery bags! If you’re out shopping and have extra bags to recycle, we’d love to put them to good use.

Drop them off at Family Sharing and help us reduce waste while supporting our community.

Let’s work together to make a difference - one bag at a time!
