In recognition of “National Homeownership Month”, the Kauai Board of REALTORS will be hosting two FREE educational events encouraging our ohana that “Homeownership Is Possible” on June 17, 2021 with Hawaiian Community Assets and June 24, 2021 with Hawaii Homeownership Center. Both events are scheduled from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. All hopeful residents are encouraged to register via the Kauaiboard.com website.

June is National Homeownership Month and in honor of that, and support of homeownership in our community and the idea that everyone deserves a home, we ran 3 full page ads in The Garden Island Newspaper this past week to highlight two upcoming public sessions with the Hawaiian Community Assets and Hawaii Home Ownership Center. Both programs offer to help secure stable housing for participants trying to purchase a home. They offer financial counseling including establishing saving habits, debt reduction, how to build your credit score and how to avoid foreclosure.
