FORTERRA’S I-90 LAND ACQUISITIONS: WORK THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

More than 2,500 acres acquired along I-90 are now paving the way for the Gold Creek Valley restoration and safer wildlife migration across the Cascades.

The Gold Creek Valley restoration project began with a land acquisition by Forterra in 2009, along with a series of other acquisitions along the I-90 corridor from 2008 to 2017.

“Restoration at Gold Creek is the result of years of patient, collaborative work,” said Michelle Connor, CEO of Forterra. “Watching that commitment turn into action on the ground is deeply rewarding, and the bull trout, the wildlife, and the whole community will benefit for generations.”
